Berkeley winter greens
Another one of our Sunday walks. It seems like we may be leaving Berkeley soon, and now I'm feeling nostalgic of things as we live them. The weather has been so dreamy these last weeks, and we've been trying to explore our town a lot more.
Here's another Sunday walk. We had some Korean food and went to our favorite ice cream place.

New Mexico: Las Vegas Hot Springs
This February Lilo came to visit me for a week. We wanted to be adventurous and do something outside of the house, but the wintery weather was not helping. Finally, we decided that hot springs would be the best idea! warm and cozy!
New Mexico is known for having a huge amount of hot springs. We kept on hearing about them, but we never had a chance to go. Since this was new to us, we decided to go to the ones with the easiest access: The Las Vegas Hot Springs! These hot springs are about an hour away from Santa Fe, and they are right on the side of the road! so we didn't freeze on the 'hike' to them or back!
The only disadvantage that comes with the easy access is that they are usually pretty packed with people.

| I know I know. There are no people there, but this was just for a second, while they were preparing to get in |
I had never been to any hot springs before so I didn't have anything to compare them with, but after going to the San Antonio Hot Springs last week I can tell you that the Las Vegas Springs are not very pretty at all. However, the water is warm, and that is what we wanted!

| The guy in the back didn't work there. No. He was cleaning before getting in because he didn't want his feet to touch the dirty floor. |
After the hot springs we ate some homemade pizza, we had another small adventure, and then we went home happy to have done something new.

Silly in the Snow
The first time I saw snow I was 19 years old. It immediatly made me start acting lile a 2 year old. I have countless videos of me my sister and I doing snow angels on the pavement (there was some snow there, but it's invisible), throwing 1 inch diameter snowballs at eachother (we would scrape it from tiny corners where it would barely acumulate) and trying to slide down grass hills as if we were sledding. After 4 winters in Illinois and one in New Mexico the exitement hasn't worn off!
