On the Road: Southern Florida!

We spent the last two weeks of the "relaxed" part of our trip in Florida with my family. After this the trip became really chaotic and we didn't have much chance of doing anything fun. While in Florida, we got to spend time with my little nephew, who gets 5 inches taller every time I see him. We went to the beach, and lounged around aaaall day. Who knows when will be the next time I'll be able to do this?

My nephew supervised while Lilo dug a whole to bury him in.
And then he tried to dig himself out of the hole while Lilo supervised.

Who knows when will I be able to see him again. Kids grow so fast, and every time I see him he is a completely different little person!

After relaxing and sunburning at the beach we had to leave Florida. This time we had to fly, since due to the fact that I am going back to being a student, a car is way out of my budget.

Saying goodbye to my cute car, which was with us during so many adventures, and never let us down.
Miami International Airport's extremely silly decorations.
After this, our trip became officially a move. We had to load Lilo's car, and start driving towards The Bay Area, (not without making a couple of nice, but rushed stops during the drive, of course). But Florida remains as one of the best parts of our trip!

  1. Best of luck starting at Berkeley soon! I know you will have many more awesome adventures there, even without your car. :)
