The Best Way to Eat Garlic!

A while ago we went to the Rooftop Pizzeria in Santa Fe, and ordered a pizza that had at least three whole garlic cloves per slice. When we first saw it we were very confused, but then we tried it, and oh my!

Lilo's Roasted Garlic

Roasted garlic is so buttery and soft, it literally melts in your mouth! The garlic flavor has just the right intensity, its not too much, but if you loooove garlic then this is definitely intense enough. Alexei ate two entire heads of garlic in a day and a half, and even his farts smelled like it, so you may want to take it easy.

To make it you peel the outer layers of the bulb, and cut the top off, so that all of the cloves are exposed. Drizzle with some olive oil, and salt/pepper (optional), wrap the entire head on aluminum foil (like you would to cook potatoes when camping!), and stick it in the oven at 400 degrees F for about 35-40 minutes.

Once its done the cloves just fall out of the skin, and they taste amazing! you can put this on a pizza, spread it on bread with butter to make amazing garlic bread, smash it and put it on pasta with just a bit of olive oil and pepper, and who knows what else!

So easy and definitely worth adding to your cookbook!
